Do you love Goofy's Glaciers? Those tasty frozen icee drinks are a favorite in our family, and we do crave them when we aren't at Disney. Though I've not been able to recreate our favorite flavor, the lime green, just by chance one day I glanced at the back of a Koolaid container and saw a recipe. Less than 2 minutes later we had copycat Goofy's Glaciers. Limited only by your choice of flavors at the store, you too can create your own. Pour them into a Disney souvenir cup like we did! Here's what you need to make 2 generous servings: Blender 3 cups of ice 1 cup of water 1/2 cup of presweetened Koolaid powder Put the cup of water, one cup of ice and the 1/2 cup of pre sweetened Koolaid into your blender. Blend until smooth. Add the last 2 cups of ice, blend until smooth. So quick, so easy, so Disney!! Yum!! We make these at least once a week now, they are so simple to do! Grape is my favorite, Cherry is my youngest's. I've not tried lemonade, orange or ice tea yet, I bet those are yummy too! Try it today, then let me know how yours turned out!

With so many beloved characters to choose from, you'll really enjoy these lessons! Here's another Disney to do while you are helping reduce the spread of our unwelcome 2020 visitor, Covid-19. Ever wondered how they build a theme park ground up? Could anything be better than learning how to do that with the guidance of a Disney Imagineer? What if I said it was free? Check out this great collaboration from the Khan Academy, and Disney Parks Imagineers. You'll learn how to create every detail of your own theme park, in these fantastic FREE lessons. The magic doesn't have to stop, just because you are inside, doing your part to help stop the spread of Covid-19. (And thank you for that. There are a lot of immunocompromised who need you to do that) Why not break out the coloring pages for you or the kiddos? I'm actually googling Small World Coloring sheets because there are some AWESOME ones!! Here's a link that will take you to loads of sheets, be more specific with a character or attraction and you might just find the perfect way to spend an hour! We love Disney gift cards! We've talked before how to get free money to spend on Disney gift cards, but do you know all of the ways that you can use your Disney gift cards? We've got a list for you! This isn't a complete list, but I'll bet there's a few ways to use them you might not have known! 1. Disney Resorts, includng those like Aulani and Hilton Head 2. Food anywhere on Disney Property, even some non owned Disney Spring locations 3. Souvenirs and shopping at Disney and Disney Springs 4. Parking at the Theme Parks 5. Theme park tickets 6. Spa services 7. Disney Cruises 8. Adventures by Disney 9. DVC dues or fees 10. Memory Maker 11. Tips So what can't you use these gift cards on? Balloon vendors are cash only, and a few of the nightime carts with light up toys can't take these. You can't use these (yet) for Minnie Vans, RunDisney fees, pressed pennies, laundry services and a few other small things. It's also a good idea to have a little cash as a backup, there have been times we've been in Epcot and all credit card readers have gone down, and the only way to get that Mickey Pretzel was with cash! Once you get your gift cards, you can combine them up to $1000 each, check balances or even buy specialty looking cards, through Disney's gift card website. There's very little these card's can't buy, and with so many fun designs, they are perfect gifts too! If you haven't read our article on how in less than 10 seconds how to make sure your child (or you!) doesn't lose their gift card, you might want to check it out by clicking here. It's quick, easy, and fun! |
