About Disney Magic Mommy
On our first trip I remember trying to fall asleep in our Pop Century Resort room thinking, “This place is amazing. Why haven’t we been here sooner?” My next thought, and one that plagued me for the next few months was, “How can I come back here every year?”
Our family is just a normal family, a modest salary, small children who won't stop growing or eating us out of house and home, day to day expenses and also those awful unexpected expenses. I have two boys, I'll bet you can imagine all those doctor's bills! Still, when you've got Disney on the brain, the only cure is more Disney.
When we got back from our first trip, I was determined to make it work for us to go again. I became more intentional with spending, scoured the internet for every tip and trick I could find to not just save money, but also make our experience even better, without feeling like we were sacrificing at all. When we booked our next trip, I felt pretty good about it. But, the same thing happened. When we were there, I just kept feeling like I could have done better. With enough planning, could I have a better trip, and spend less? Or, at least do more? I really thought so. That began my quest for everything Disney.
This most recent trip not only have we managed to pay less than previous years, which is hard to do as the price of everything, not just Disney goes up every year, but we are also staying an extra day and added Memory Maker! I hope that some of my tips and tricks will help you and your family make the most out of your Disney vacation one day, and I am looking forward to hearing your own tips and tricks!
I am not a Disney Travel Planner, so you won't find me suggesting that you use me to book your next vacation, what you will find is real mom tips and advice, a nudge for going on a trip if you haven’t done so, and a little bit of Disney talk to tide you over until your next trip, because after all, that's what we all need in between trips, right? Those long days in between vacations are best spent planning the next trip!
Sometime's I'll post links, some of them may be affiliate links. That means you won't pay a dime more for the item, but a small percentage will go to me to help pay for site maintenance.
Welcome, and I hope you find a little bit of Disney Magic here.
