There have been some great (and some not as great) movies and documentaries made about Walt Disney. Some are a little harder to find, others, you don't need to look farther than Amazon Prime! Here's a list! Have you seen any of these? Walt Before Mickey Thought not rated very highly, I actually really liked Walt Before Mickey. It's a good length for children to watch and get his story, and while yes, so many details are left out, and it's not perfect, its a good, heart warming movie. The actors were really good, you knew who to cheer for, and who to boo. A perfect starting movie for a young Disney fan, and I think that's huge, since many times, especially with children, things are too complicated for them to understand. Walt Disney: The American Experience If you want quality, you KNOW PBS is the place to deliver. A bit too long for a movie night, or for the younger kids, but with so much goodness stuffed in, this might be the absolute best documentary about Walt Disney. Walt The Man Behind The Myth With Dick Van Dyke narrating, even if you are feeling Disney's out (wait...is that even a thing?!) This is a great one to watch! Saving Mr. Banks I know...this isn't technically a movie about Walt, and it's not 100% true, but it's still a really good movie. It gives you some glimpses into how this movie was created, with Walt, the Sherman Brothers and spot on scenes of Walt's office. As Dreamers Do: The Amazing Life of Walt Disney Rated the lowest of all, I can't give my own opinion yet, because I havn't seen this one. It's in my queue, but since my kids want to watch it with me, it's been tough to find a time where we can. Have you seen this one ? I'm sure we are missing a few...what else have you found? There are loads of documentaries, that Walt is part of, but you know what I'd really like to see? A documentary about Roy, because he was so instrumental to Walt's success! Do you agree?
