Back in 2015, my littlest man was too small for Star Tours, so he and I were roaming around the back streets at Hollywood Studios. We were just going up and down the streets, totally enjoying that, "I'm walking down the set of Singin' in the Rain" sort of feel, when I saw this window. It caught my attention and I tried to get a good picture, but this was the best that I could do, there were so many people around. I was thinking about it the other day, since we are days away from our next trip-- with so much being taken away for Star Wars Land, I guess this window must be gone too? A good reminder to always take lots of photos, because you might not ever get to see something again!

Yes, sadly that is gone. As excited as I am to see new things at Disney, I'm going to miss that street as well. This makes me think about my last time down this street when I took window pictures as well, of Gold's Pawn Shop, the window front that they did up in the Once Upon A Time theme. I think the change is hard on us since it takes so long, but I have faith that it will all be worth it....in a few years!

I think any new changes will be good, if they continue to put the same care into the attention of details, but also allow for some areas of nostalgia to always remain. Since I know nothing really ever gets thrown away, and they store it all in warehouses, I'm hoping that one day they will rebuild a small section with the older era feel again.

I'll miss that window. They always had a great display. For awhile there was an old fashioned gumball machine in front of it. Wonderful memories. Glad you captured it!
