Everything You Need To Know About Haircuts at Disney's Magic Kingdom

Did you know that the Harmony Barber Shop in the Magic Kingdom isn't just for show? You can actually get your hair cut, and something very special happens for those little ones who want their first hair cut at Disney! 

Like many things at Disney World, there are a few things you need to know before you go. First: 

Reservations are recommended 

This isn't to say you can't get a walk in appointment, but walk ins are limited. Reservations might be the only way you can get your locks styled inside of the Magic Kingdom. 


There is a cancellation fee

If you change your mind, or totally forget to make your appointment, you will be charged a $10 fee


You can't get your hair shampooed

They aren't going to shampoo and condition your hair, so please show up with a clean head! 



No unattended children

Children under the age of 17 aren't allowed without an adult. 


Gratuities aren't included, and are cash only

Tips are always welcome and appreciated, in many situations. We've talked before about when to tip, who to tip and even how much. Here, all tips must be paid in cash. 


This Barber Shop is run by stylists with state licensed cosmetologists, Prices start at $18, so not too different from your local shops, however like we'd mentioned, those getting their first hair cut get a little something extra magical! A keepsake pair of Ears, certificiate and lock of hair for the parents!
