The Character meet and greet of Sorcerer Mickey, and Red Carpet Minnie might be my favorite, simply because of the incredible details in with Mickey. Look at these amazing details, and then tell me what your favorite meet and greet is!
The digital sign at the end of It's a Small World interests me. While I've never seen it flash the names of anyone in our family, I have seen it say other names, Rachel, Jeff, etc. I wonder how it works! We have been several times both with and without a fastpass. Have you ever seen your name appear on the digital sign? How does this magical device work?
A fun little flashback! The front page of the Orlando Sentinel, almost 54 years ago when it was guessed that Walt Disney was the one buying all of the land in the Orlando area!
Recently a young reader wrote with her school media librarian to tell me they had used some of my posts for a research project she was working on. This girl, Mia, is such a Disney fan, at school she is known as Mia Mouse! She had found this website while working on her project, and discovered many, many other great resources on it, including links of vintage Disney pictures. Since we all love Disney, and especially early Disney, I wanted to thank her and share these great links with you as well.
Thank you Mia Mouse, and good luck on your project!
A few weeks back, I mentioned all of the great ways to stream FREE Disney music from the parks, and more. One of those places, Sorcerer Radio, has started playing holiday music! Right now, you've got Halloween, with constantly great music like a blend of Haunted Mansion with Thriller! It's fantastic! And every few hours, they play the Boo To You parade! Starting November 1st, it will be Christmas music. What a great way to add the Disney to your day, but also bring the holiday Spirit, ghosty or jingly!
